Deborah

Personal Trainer, IFBB Bikini Pro

I was born and raised here in Mesa Arizona. I come from a large family of seven kids and have always been very competitive. I played fast pitch softball all through my youth and throughout high school. I was married shortly there after to the best man ever. We have six beautiful children now, four boys and two girls, with the surprise of the last two being twins. My kids keep me very busy and I love every second of it. I have learned to juggle responsibilities while never losing site of living a healthy life style. I know what it’s like to be “too busy.” It’s so easy to get lost in jobs, stress, relationships, children, and life. Clean eating and exercise helps you to feel better…plain and simple. You are your number one priority. While losing weight is important, it is equally important to take time for yourself and doing what makes you happy. I strongly believe that living a healthy life style is something only we can control. And ultimately when we are happy, everything else falls into place.

Sports and nutrition has always been a passion of mine. A very close friend of mine turned me on to the life of competing. I began training at AZ Pro Physiques and competed in my first NPC Bikini Competition 8 months after my twins were born. I have loved the changes I have been able to make. Just when you think you are at your best there is always room to improve. I try to never stay complacent with anything in life. I believe in setting goals, concurring them, then setting some more. I am proud to say that I am an IFBB Bikini Pro. It was in July 2013 where I placed 1st in my class Bikini Class B Open. It’s been an adventure to say the least and has taken a lot of commitment, time and dedication. I love being able to set an example for my children and others around me.

I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters through NAU. I taught second grade for five amazing years. I love being able to enrich the lives of others by watching them grow and change.

As much as I enjoyed teaching, I have always had a huge love for health and fitness. I now combine my passion for teaching through fitness as a Personal Trainer at AZ Pro Physiques. This was most definitely the right decision for me. There is nothing more rewarding than watching my clients accomplish their goals.
